Traditional Irish Music Night
Tuesday 16th March
Traditional concert followed by an open session with plenty of song and dance (hopefully !!). The night is being held in aid of Scoil Naomh Chárthach (Ballyfinnane) and the Ballyfinnane Community Hall.
Serious talent will be on show with the like of:

Deeper Well

Formed in 2007, Deeper Well is a three member female group with a world class backing band who perform original work along with covers of many well known classics.
Ronnie Moore, Bridhid Daly & Joan Green will perform in Sol y Sombra on 1st April at 9pm

Gemma Hayes

Hailing from Tipperary, Ireland, Gemma Hayes is a singer-songwriter and producer, known for her eclectic blend of folk, prog rock and electronica.
She burst onto the music scene with her debut album Night on My Side, which was nominated for the UK's prestigious Mercury Music Prize. She followed that up with a win in the Best Female Artist category at Ireland's Hot Press Awards.
Since then Gemma has been gathering much international recognition, releasing two albums and touring extensively. She has written songs with Adam Duritz of Counting Crows and Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine. Her music has been featured on a multitude of fils and tv shows including Grey's Anatomy, ER and Mr & Mrs Smith.
