There’s so much more to Italy than mass produced Prosecco and Pinot Grigio! While we will of course include these great fail safe’s as part of our Italian Wine Tasting line up, be prepared to discover another whole universe of Italian greats. Join us on a journey from Veneto on the east coast to Piedmont on the west and onward as we travel south through Tuscany, Abruzzo and the lesser know regions of Southern Italy and Sicily.
Italy is a wonderful melting pot of rich and poor, tradition and modernity, commerical and boutique – along with the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between. Join us as we explore these interesting influences and how they impact on what we drink from this great country.
A welcome glass of wine will be served at 7:15, the tasting will begin at 7:30pm and nibbles will be served during the tasting. We will finish at approximately 9 pm and the kitchen will remain open afterwards for guests who wishes to eat following the tasting.
